The body is coming together nicely. I'm giving up on the idea of using salvaged steppers and belts. Time to start ordering electronics...

2 Gear plywood extruder body

This is a two gear plywood extruder, the design is derived from Wades extruder but
adopted for production with available tools. The motor and 2 gear assembly have
been salvaged form an old printer and are used together as in the printer design.

A lot of tricks were required to get the two designs to merge, lets see how it comes out...
One thing is for sure, the drag force is going to be insane.

Testing stepper motor salvaged from old laser printer, together with its native driver. Controlled from a PC via UBW board. Ready to saw the printer mobo to pieces.
